Who we are

Qurius AI (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-powered support widget and related services for businesses. This policy describes how we handle personal and usage information when you use our website, dashboard, and integrations (including the optional Notion connection).

Qurius AI is operated by Edward De-Graft Quansah, doing business as Qurius AI, based in New Jersey, United States. For privacy questions, email support@qurius.app.

When a business embeds our widget on its website, that business decides what content the assistant uses and receives the support requests and leads its visitors submit. Visitors with questions about how a particular business uses their information should also contact that business.

Information we collect

  • Account and billing: information you provide when signing up or subscribing (e.g. name, email, company details, payment handled by our payment processor).
  • Widget and analytics: aggregate and operational data about how the widget is used (e.g. events, truncated message snippets for debugging). When a visitor rates an answer, we store the rating, the reason they picked, and shortened copies of that question and answer so the business can improve its content. We design analytics to avoid storing full conversation transcripts where possible.
  • Chat messages: the questions visitors type into the widget, and the recent conversation, are sent to our AI providers to find relevant content and write an answer.
  • Leads and support requests: contact details visitors submit when they choose to escalate to a human, plus context needed to notify your team. If a visitor gives an email address, we send them a confirmation email on the business’s behalf.
  • Notion integration (optional): if you connect Notion, we receive an access token and read the Notion content you explicitly share with our integration, to sync it into your knowledge base for the widget. We do not sell your Notion data.
  • Website content: if you give us your website address, we fetch and process the publicly available pages of that site to build your knowledge base. On plans with automatic crawling, we refresh this content on a regular schedule.
  • Technical data: standard logs, IP addresses, and device/browser data as needed for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide and improve the service, authenticate users, process payments, send operational emails, power AI responses from your approved knowledge sources, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your content or your visitors’ messages to train AI models.

Service providers

We share information with the following providers only as needed to run the Services:

  • Supabase: database and sign-in.
  • Render and Vercel: hosting for our servers and website. Vercel also provides cookieless Web Analytics (page views, referrer, country, and device) for qurius.app. It does not identify you and is not used for advertising.
  • Stripe: payments and billing. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • Resend: sending account, alert, and visitor confirmation emails.
  • OpenRouter and OpenAI: generating answers, FAQs, and summaries from knowledge content and visitor questions.
  • Jina AI: processing knowledge content and visitor questions to find the most relevant answers.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: protecting forms from bots and abuse.
  • Google Maps: address suggestions during signup.
  • Notion: only if you choose to connect it.

Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Cookies and browser storage

We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We use your browser’s local and session storage only for things the service needs to work:

  • On our website and dashboard: keeping you signed in, remembering your theme, language, and setup-checklist progress, and noting how you first found us (the referring website and any campaign link). If you sign up, that note and your optional “How did you hear about us?” answer are saved with your account so we can tell which channels work.
  • In the chat widget: a session identifier for the current browser tab, used to link a conversation’s analytics and any support request. If a visitor submits their name or email through the widget, it is also saved on that visitor’s device so the widget can greet them on their next visit. This stays in their browser and is kept separately for each website the widget appears on.

You can remove this data at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

During signup, address suggestions are provided by Google Maps, which receives the address text you type and is subject to Google’s privacy policy. Payments are handled on our payment processor’s secure checkout page.

Retention and your choices

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Unclaimed demo assistants created at qurius.app/try are deleted after 48 hours. You can request deletion of your account and its data from Settings in your dashboard. We review the request, then remove your company data and login; billing invoices may be retained as required for tax and accounting. You may disconnect third-party integrations (such as Notion) from your dashboard; we provide controls to remove associated synced content where applicable, and disconnecting Notion also revokes our access token. For other data requests (including access or deletion where applicable), email support@qurius.app or contact us through our Contact page.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries where we or our subprocessors operate. We take steps designed to protect your information consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
