Terms of Service

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Qurius AI’s website, dashboard, APIs, widget, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

The Services are operated by Edward De-Graft Quansah, doing business as Qurius AI (“Qurius AI”, “we”, “us”).

The Services

Qurius AI provides tools to embed an AI assistant on your properties, optionally informed by content you supply or connect (including websites you ask us to crawl and optional integrations such as Notion). Features may vary by plan. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services with reasonable notice where practicable.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain rights to your content. You grant us a license to host, process, and display your content as needed to provide the Services. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you provide, for obtaining any rights and consents needed (including from end users where required), and for your configuration of the widget and integrations. You must not use the Services to violate law, infringe others’ rights, or transmit malware or abusive material.

You may only ask us to crawl websites you own or are authorized to use for this purpose. If you embed the widget on your site, you are responsible for informing your visitors, in your own privacy notice, that the widget processes their messages and may store limited data in their browser, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party services

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services (e.g. Notion, payment processors, hosting, AI model providers). Those services are subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services you choose to use.

Fees, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices and taxes are as shown at checkout or in your account. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Failure to pay may result in your account moving to the Free plan or being suspended. Free or trial offerings may be limited or changed.

Message allowances reset on the 1st of each calendar month (UTC), regardless of your billing date. Unused messages, including extra message packs, do not roll over.

You can cancel at any time from the billing page in your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then moves to the Free plan.

Refunds

  • First payment: if you are not satisfied, we will refund your first subscription payment in full if you ask within 14 days of being charged. This applies once per customer.
  • Renewals: renewal payments are generally not refundable. If you meant to cancel, contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge; if your assistant has not answered any questions since the renewal, we will refund it.
  • Partial months and unused messages: we do not refund partial months, unused messages, or downgrades made part-way through a billing period.
  • Extra message packs and automatic top-ups: these are not refundable once any of their messages have been used. If a pack was charged by mistake, or was triggered by obvious spam or bot traffic, contact us within 14 days and we will refund it.
  • Service problems: if the Services are unavailable for an extended period due to a problem on our side, we may offer a credit or partial refund at our discretion.

To request a refund, email support@qurius.app from the email address on your account. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. We may decline refund requests that involve abuse of the Services or of this policy, such as repeated sign-ups to obtain refunds. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under applicable law.

Disclaimers

The Services and any AI-generated output are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. AI outputs may be incorrect or incomplete. You should not rely on them as the sole source of professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Qurius AI and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms or the Services will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, risk to the Services or others, or non-payment. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
